Two quotes ago, the author implied this, now the author is just blatantly stating it: “echolalia is often a result of not understanding.” Yeah, that’s all I’m gonna say about. I just can’t believe how overtly ableistic this stuff is. As if the neurotypical way of communicating is the only way of communicating and all other ways be damned.
I guess I had a bit more to say about it than I thought. But I’m done! I’m done for a while, I need to cool off and eat supper.
